Life IS Anything But Normal

For the second time, it's been a long time since I've posted anything here. While I didn't make it a New Year's Resolution to write more here, finding a place to express this most recent life journey that I've been on for the past 14+ months has been weighing heavily on my heart. My original intentions with this blog were to be a way to publish my photographs and gain traction as a photographer in the amateur field. Well, life has happened since that notion came about, so I thought I'd try to blend the two desires and express myself through photo and prose.

Stay tuned for what I hope to be at least weekly entries about my life, that is anything but normal. 

West to East Coast

It's been a while, so I thought I'd play catch up with a few beach photos. It's been less than a year between my last West Coast beach trip to enjoying the amazing East Coast beaches- here are a few views to enjoy :) 

Viva Las Vegas

At our last trip to Las Vegas, I just had to capture the lobby ceiling in the Bellagio. This one was tough because of the dim lighting below and the backlit high ceiling!

Still not ready for spring

This winter has been unseasonably warm- the forecast for tomorrow: sunny and 80 degrees- after living in southern California for over 3 years, I still haven't adjusted to this weather.

Welcome to my blog, and welcome to my 2011 resolution... to get my photos out of their digital storage space and into the view of others. It's citrus season in Riverside... the birthplace of the Navel Orange, out on a bike ride today I just couldn't resist taking a picture!
